Certified documents
In his capacity as Register of Civil Status, the Ambassador is competent for certifying documents delivered by Senegalese authorities.
However, to be valid internationally, the document must first be authenticated by the Direction of Legal and Consular Affairs (DAJC) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad (MAESE), which stores all the specimens of signatures of Senegalese relevant authorities having the legal mandate to sign.
