Senegalese nationals are often contracting with agencies acting as manpower recuitment.
Most of the times, the contracts are concluded without the involvement of the Embassy which is informed only in case of the occurrence of conflicts between the employer (sponsor or "kafiil") and the employee.
If the employee decides, for any reason, to unilaterally end the contract before its term, without the consent of the employer, the cost of the travel ticket must be paid back to the "sponsor ", without any prejudice of the payment of other penalties.
In case of non-compliance with those rules, the employee can face some trouble.
So, the Senegalese nationals are kindly invited to sign the contracts with "prior informed consent" and to involve the Embassy in the process.
