The legal framework consists of many bilateral agreements concluded in various areas of cooperation: economics, finance (protection of investments, avoidance of double taxation), technics, tourism, culture and arts; air transportation; civil protection; education and science; youth and sports.
The Bi-national Commission is the formal framework for the assessment of the bilateral cooperation between Kuwait and Senegal.
The meetings are held alternately in Dakar and Kuwait-City, in order to adopt recommendations for reinforcing the cooperation between the two countries.
In addition, Senegal and Kuwait have signed a Memorandum of understanding (MOU) for bilateral consultations between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Senegalese Abroad.
